Community Partnerships
Kinship is a non-profit community art project founded by socially engaged artists dedicated to multi-species environmental and social justice. At Kinship we see photography as a powerful medium of relationship. Used well, it opens up new ways of seeing and relating that can radically deepen our intimacy with the natural world and each other. When photography practices include curiosity, wonder, and reverence, we see profound changes in participants’ capacity for empathy, engagement, and action.
We offer uniquely designed photography workshops, exhibitions, and community engagement programs to schools, organizations, institutions, and faith-based communities looking to foster curiosity, build community and inspire sustained action. Kinship welcomes community partnerships and cross-sector collaborations.
We are actively seeking a diverse community of partners for online programs, image distribution, online and in-person exhibitions, and curated collections for periodicals, journals, and catalogs and would welcome the opportunity to collaborate or partner with you.
